Description
Crockwell Cottage is a 18th-century farmhouse, originally shown on the Ordnance Survey map as Crockwell Farm. It is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and features a corrugated iron roof that is hipped to the left, with a stone-coped gable and kneelers on the right. The building has brick ridge and end stacks. It is two stories high and has a two-window range, with 2-light casements that include glazing bars and wood lintels. There is a part-glazed door located to the centre left, accompanied by a one-light casement to the right. The cottage also has stone quoins. Inside, it is said to have beams and an open fireplace.
