Description

Kunda Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on the south side of Whilton Main Street. It is constructed of cob with some brick and features a reed thatch roof, along with brick stacks at the ends and ridge. The cottage has a two-unit plan and is two stories high with a two-window range. There is a plank door to the right, which has a moulded wood surround and a timber lintel. To the left of the door, there are two-light casement windows, with similar windows above in eyebrow dormers on the first floor. Inside, the cottage includes spine beams and an open fireplace with a bar-stop-chamfered cambered bressumer.
