Description

Castle Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on Bournemouth Road in Spetisbury. It is constructed of brick, with some areas rendered and whitewashed. The cottage features a thatched roof with brick stacks at each end and has a gable facing the road. It is one and a half stories tall and has a three-window range. The windows include eyebrow dormers with casements that have leaded lights. The central entrance consists of a part-glazed plank door. Inside, notable features include a stop-chamfered beam in the ground floor room and a fireplace with a chamfered bressummer.
