Description

Steps Cottage is a house dated 1691, featuring a crosswing on the left and early 19th-century alterations. It is constructed of coursed lias rubble and has a two-unit plan. The building is two stories high with a three-window range. There is a central entrance that includes a 20th-century door. On the left side, there are two three-light stone mullion windows with dripstones on both the ground and first floors. The remaining windows are 20th-century casements. Inside, the left-hand room has an open fire with a bressumer.
