Description

The Coach and Horses Public House is an early 18th century building located on Harborough Road in Brixworth. It is constructed from squared coursed lias and features a thatched roof. The pub has a three-unit plan and is two stories high with an irregular five-window range. The central entrance consists of a 19th-century glazed door with a hood above it. The windows are sash style and vary in size, featuring glazing bars. On the ground floor, the windows are set under flat arches, while those on the first floor have wooden lintels. There is also a 19th-century canted bay window to the right of the center. The building is adorned with ashlar gable parapets and has four brick stacks located at the ridge and ends.
