Description

This is a mid-18th century house located on the east side of Northampton Road, Brixworth. The house is constructed of ironstone ashlar with a plain tiled roof. It follows a three-unit plan and has two storeys and an attic. The front elevation has a three-window range of wood casements, likely dating to the 20th century. The first window on the left has a flat arch with a keystone; the remaining windows have stone lintels with keystones. A 19th-century reeded wood door surround frames a six-panelled door, which is sheltered by an early 20th-century porch. The gabled roof has ashlar gabled parapets and features two hipped roof dormers, brick stacks at the ridge and ends, and stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops.
