Description
The Grange is a house that likely has an 18th-century wing but is mainly from the early 19th century. It features alternating courses of ironstone and lias ashlar, topped with a slate roof. The building has a two-unit plan with a projecting wing on the left side, and it is three stories tall with three window openings. The central entrance has a double-leaf door with a flat arch and an arched recess above it. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, decrease in height on the second floor and all have flat stone arches. The roof is shallow-pitched with brick stacks at both ends. At the rear, there is a staircase projection that includes an arched-headed window with intersecting glazing bars. The left wing is constructed of coursed rubble and features casement windows with flat arches, and it has a gabled roof that is set on two levels.
