Description
This is a house located at 41 Welland Rise, likely built in the late 17th century and rebuilt in the mid 18th century. Originally constructed with a timber frame, it now features a chequered brick exterior and a pantile roof. The house has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with a three-window range of casement windows. The ground floor windows are set beneath shallow brick arches. To the right of the centre, there is a 20th-century door also under a shallow brick arch, with a timber frame post immediately to its right. The building has a brick cornice and brick stacks at both ends. There is a 19th-century one-unit extension to the right that includes a carriage arch. The interior has not been inspected, but it is noted to have a timber-framed cross wall and ceiling beams.
