Description
The building is a cartshed located to the south of Park Farmhouse, dating from around 1795 and designed by Sir John Soane. It is constructed of whitewashed brick and features a slate hipped roof. The eaves course is unusual for its design. The structure is two storeys high, with a central section that projects forward and includes a simple pediment. There is a blank round-arched recess and a blind opening above, which features a clock face. To the left side, there is a similar recess with a two-light casement window, while the right side has various openings, including a doorway at the rear. This cartshed is part of a significant group of buildings associated with Sulby Hall, which was demolished around 1948.
