Description

The farmbuilding range located to the southwest of Park Farmhouse dates back to around 1795 and incorporates elements from an earlier structure. It was designed by Sir John Soane. The building is constructed of whitewashed brick and features slate hipped roofs, with an unusual brick eaves course in some areas. It consists of single-storey ranges, with an L-plan section on the right that projects towards Park Farmhouse. This section includes double doors and a plank door, with 2-light casements on either side. To the left, there is a stable door and a pair of large double doors within a hipped roof projection. The rear of the building has various small windows. Inside, the central stable section has a coved ceiling. This farmbuilding is part of a significant group of structures associated with Sulby Hall, which was demolished around 1948.
