Description

The Old School, now a dwelling, was built as a school in 1847 and extended in 1873. It is constructed of diapered brickwork with a fishscale tile roof. Originally a single-unit plan with a vestibule, it now presents as a two-window range with 3- and 4-light windows featuring wood mullions. A central brick stack and a stack at the end are present. The bay to the far right is dated 1873, with a gabled porch constructed in a matching style. The left gable has a 12-light wood mullion window, above which the date 1847 is inscribed in brickwork. The interior was not inspected, but the porch retains its original 19th-century inner door.
