Description
Potcote Lodge is a mid-18th century farmhouse constructed from coursed squared ironstone, featuring a slate roof and brick end stacks. The building has a two-unit central staircase plan, stands two storeys tall with an attic, and has a five-window range. The central entrance includes a part-glazed door with a segmental-arched head, flanked by canted bay windows. The first floor has cross windows with stone lintels and keyblocks. Notable architectural details include quoins, deep moulded stone eaves, and stone-coped gables with kneelers. There is a two-storey wing at the rear left. Inside, the lodge contains 19th-century marble chimneypieces and boxed spine beams.
