Description
Elliots Farmhouse is a house that was formerly a farmhouse, built in the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared ironstone and features a plain-tile roof with brick stacks at each end. The house has a two-unit central staircase plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic, presenting a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door surrounded by a moulded wood frame, an overlight, and a timber lintel with a straight hood supported by brackets. Above the door is a two-light cross window, while the ground and first floors are fitted with 19th-century double sash windows, all featuring timber lintels. The exterior includes a plinth, brick eaves, and stone-coped gables with kneelers. Inside, there is a winder stair, an open fireplace with a chamfered bressumer, stone flags in the hall, and a stone cellar.
