Description

This headstone, dating from the 17th century, is located approximately 10 meters east of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary in Moreton Pinkney. It is made of limestone and features an inscription plaque that has an eared architrave topped with a skull and scrolls. The date of death inscribed on the headstone is 1668, but the name has not survived. The upper part of the inscription is significantly weathered.
