Description

This headstone, dating from the 17th century, is made of ironstone and is located approximately two meters east of the south porch of the Church of St. Mary in Moreton Pinkney. It features an inscription plaque framed by incised lines, although the top is damaged. The headstone commemorates John Tomkins, who died in 1672. It is included for its group value with the surrounding heritage.
