Description

This is an 18th-century cottage located on the east side of Lower End in Brafield on the Green. It has been altered in the 20th century. The cottage is constructed from coursed limestone and ironstone rubble, with a thatched roof and brick end stacks. It follows a two-unit plan. The front of the cottage has a two-window arrangement. A central plank door has a stop-chamfered wood lintel. The ground floor has two-light casement windows, also with stop-chamfered wood lintels. The first floor windows are two-light casements set within eyebrow dormers. The interior includes spine beams.
