Description
Tunnel Hill Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1823. It is constructed from coursed squared limestone and features a hipped slate roof with yellow brick internal stacks. The building has a double-depth plan and is two stories high, with a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a glazed door with panelled reveals and a reeded wood surround. The ground and first floors have 16-pane sash windows with segmental arched heads. The farmhouse has deep overhanging eaves and includes a two-storey wing to the rear left and a single-storey wing to the rear right. Attached to the farmhouse are farm buildings that surround a farmyard at the back, which include a barn with double-opposed doors, shelter sheds, a granary, and a four-bay cart-standing. The interior of the farmhouse has not been inspected.
