Description

A pair of cottages, Bank Cottage and East View Cottage, dating from the 18th century. They are constructed of coursed squared ironstone and coursed ironstone rubble, with a slate roof to East View Cottage and a corrugated iron roof to Bank Cottage. Brick end stacks are also present. The cottages are two storeys and have an attic, with a four-window front. East View Cottage has a plank door set within a 20th-century porch, flanked by two-light casement windows. A small one-light window is located on the far left. The first floor of East View Cottage features a three-light casement window on the left and a two-light casement window on the right. Bank Cottage has a part-glazed plank door within a conservatory porch, with a three-light casement window to the left. The first floor of Bank Cottage has a three-light casement window on the left and a two-light casement window on the right. All windows have timber lintels.
