Description

Town Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It dates from the early to mid-18th century, with 19th-century additions. The building is constructed from coursed and squared ironstone and features a steeply pitched Welsh slate roof with a rear catslide. It has a plinth, coped gables, two 18th-century brick gable stacks, a single ridge stack, and an off-centre coped stone ridge stack. The structure is two storeys high with attics and consists of four bays.

On the northeast side, the right side has a symmetrical front with a central wooden doorcase supported by elaborate brackets for the hood. The door is a five-panel early 19th-century design, with the top two panels being glazed. Flanking the door are two-light casement windows. Above the door is a blank window, which is flanked by single similar casements, all featuring keystone flat arches. To the left, there are two 19th-century glazing bar sashes, and above them is a two-light casement, all with flat arches. Above this, there are three flat-roofed dormers with 20th-century casements.

At the rear, there is a short wing to the right and an outshut with a catslide roof to its left, along with 19th-century additions. The rear mainly features 20th-century windows.
