Description
Newham Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the early 18th century and 19th century. It is constructed of coursed and squared ironstone with limestone dressings, and features a rendered west gable and a steep pitched Welsh slate roof. The building has quoins, a single coped gable, three brick gable stacks, and a single ridge stack. It is two storeys high and has three bays in an L-plan layout.
The front of the house has a central moulded wooden doorcase with a hood supported by brackets, and a late 19th-century five-panel door with the top panel glazed. On either side of the door are three-light casement windows. Above the door and to the left are two-light casements, while to the right there is a blank window. All these windows have flat arches. The rear wing on the east side features a 20th-century two-light casement on each floor to the right.
