Description
The statue base, located approximately 60 meters northeast of Harrowden Hall, dates from the early 18th century. It is made of limestone ashlar and features a panelled plinth. This statue base is part of a formal layout that includes statues located about 30 meters to the northeast and southeast, as well as 60 meters to the southeast. The layout also encompasses gates, gatepiers, railings, walls, and an attached summer house, extending roughly 300 meters to the north, south, and east of Harrowden Hall. The surrounding gardens and park are listed in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission County Register of Gardens at Grade II*. The statue base is included for its group value with these other features.
