Description
Gates, gatepiers, and railings located approximately 300 meters east of Harrowden Hall date from the 18th century and were restored in the 19th century. They consist of a pair of limestone ashlar gatepiers featuring moulded cornices, which are connected by a pair of wrought-iron gates along with side railings and an overthrow. This structure is part of a formal layout that includes gates, gatepiers, railings, walls, and an attached summer house, extending about 300 meters to the north, south, and east of Harrowden Hall. Nearby, there are statues approximately 30 meters to the northeast and southeast, and 60 meters to the southeast, along with a statue base about 60 meters to the northeast and steps approximately 10 meters east of Harrowden Hall. The gardens and park are included in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission County Register of Gardens at Grade II*.
