Description

Manor Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse located on Orlingbury Road in Great Harrowden. It is constructed of squared coursed ironstone and has a 20th century tile roof. Originally planned as a two-unit dwelling, the farmhouse now presents a three-window front. The windows are 19th century sash windows set within original openings, each with a wood lintel. The central door is part-glazed and has six panels, also set under a wood lintel. The farmhouse features gable parapets and rendered stacks at each end. There are 19th and 20th century extensions to the rear. A gable on the right-hand side has a horizontal sliding sash window to the attic. The interior was noted to contain ceiling beams, although it has not been formally inspected.
