Description
This gazebo, located approximately 230 meters southeast of Harrowden Hall in Great Harrowden, dates back to the early 18th century. It is constructed of brick and originally had a lead roof, which has since been replaced with felt. The gazebo features a single-storey, octagonal plan.
On the north side, there is a door opening adorned with moulded stucco and an eared architrave, topped with a pediment supported by brackets. The east and west sides each have a single arch-headed opening. The roof is convex and domed. Inside, there is a blank arched opening opposite the door and a fitted bench. The gardens and park surrounding the gazebo are included in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission County Register of Gardens at Grade II*.
