Description

This barn, dating from the 18th century, is located approximately 30 meters north of Manor Farmhouse on Main Street in Yarwell. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a roof made of Collyweston slate and corrugated iron. The barn is a single unit with a central cart entrance that has been modified over time. There are triangular vents on either side of the cart entrance and slit vents in the gable ends. Although the interior was not inspected, it is noted to contain remains of an 18th-century roof structure with clasped purlins.
