Description
Manor Farm Cottage is a house likely dating from the late 17th and 18th centuries. It is constructed from regular coursed limestone with ironstone dressings, and has a slate roof. Originally with a 2-unit plan, the house has two storeys and a 2-window front elevation featuring cross casement windows with glazing bars, set beneath timber lintels. A central door has six panels and glazed top lights, also beneath a timber lintel. Ashlar and brick stacks are located at the ridge and end of the building. The left-hand gable has a projecting plinth to first-floor level with ashlar coping. The rear elevation is similar in appearance. The interior has not been inspected.
