Description
This is an early 17th-century house located in London End, Irchester. Originally built with a two-unit plan, the house is constructed from limestone, now rendered, and has a corrugated metal roof. It is a single-storey building with an attic, featuring a two-window front with plain casement windows and eyebrow dormers above. A brick stack is located at one end. The interior retains original features, including ceiling beams, an open fireplace with a bressumer, and the original roof structure. A 20th-century extension to the right is not of particular architectural interest. Local tradition suggests the house has connections to the Pilgrim Fathers.
