Description
Home Farmhouse is a late 17th-century farmhouse with a distinctive L-shape plan. It is constructed from regularly coursed limestone and ironstone, topped with a 20th-century concrete tile roof. The main front features a four-window range of casements with leaded lights, where the first-floor window to the left of the center is original. All windows are set under wooden lintels. There are 20th-century doors on either side of the center, with the left door having a 20th-century porch. The building has ashlar gable parapets and kneelers, along with a brick stack at the ridge. The rear of the farmhouse is similar to the front, with some blocked openings. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is noted to contain a bread oven, a winder staircase, and ceiling beams.
