Description
This is a house located at 89 High Street, dating from the mid-18th century and 19th century. It is constructed of regular coursed limestone and features a thatch roof along with concrete tile roofs. The original layout was a two-unit plan, and the house is single storey with an attic.
The ground floor has a two-window range, with a central window on the first floor. There are 20th-century casement windows set beneath wooden lintels, and an eyebrow dormer is present on the first floor. The central entrance door, also from the 20th century, is located beneath a wooden lintel. The gable ends have brick and stone parapets, with brick stacks at both ends. The right gable has been partly rebuilt in brick in the early 19th century. Additionally, there is a single-storey extension from the 19th century attached to the right, which has a concrete tile roof. Inside, the house features spine beams.
