Description

The Old Bakehouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century to the 19th century. It features regular coursed limestone with a thatched roof and has an L-shaped plan. The main front has three windows on the first floor and five windows on the ground floor, all of which are casement windows with glazing bars set under wooden lintels. There is evidence of blocked doorways on the ground floor. The building has brick stacks at the ridge and at the end, and the left gable has been partially rebuilt in brick. A short rear wing mirrors the main front and includes a 20th-century extension. The entrance is located at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
