Description

No 12 West Street has origins dating back to the 18th century. It is a two-storey building constructed in ashlar stone. The building features a new ashlar parapet with three panels and a cornice above three windows, with keystones that reach up to the cornice. There are no glazing bars present. To the left on the first floor, there are remains of a rusticated quoin. The entire ground floor is covered by a modern shop front that includes stone pilasters. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 36 (even) and 42 to 46A (even) and 52 to 98 (even).
