Description

64 High Street is a building that likely dates from the mid-19th century. It stands three storeys tall with a front made of ashlar stone. The building features a heavily moulded cornice and a parapet, with moulded pilasters on either side of the front. There is a stringcourse present, and the façade has two windows on each storey, each with plain architrave surrounds. The windows are sashes set in plain reveals, with some still retaining glazing bars. A modern shop-front has been added. This building is one of a pair with No 66, and together with Nos 60 to 66 (even), they form a cohesive group.
