Description
Nos 60 and 62 on High Street are 19th-century buildings with a Gothic front, likely built to replace earlier cottages. They are two storeys high and constructed of ashlar stone. The façade features a cornice and parapet. On the first floor, there are three square-headed Gothic windows, each with three or four lights, stone mullions, rectangular hoodmoulds, and head-stops. To the right on the ground floor, there is another similar three-light window. The two central doorways have chamfered surrounds and are topped by a continuous hood supported by brackets. The hood mouldings include paterae, two grotesques, and one figure carved on the brackets. To the left, there is a small shop front. Nos 60 to 66 (even) are part of a group of buildings.
