Description
The kitchen garden walls, along with an attached outbuilding and coach house, are located approximately 20 meters west of Wadenhoe House. These structures date from the mid to late 18th century and are built of squared coursed limestone. They feature Collyweston slate roofs and the walls are topped with ashlar copings, enclosing the kitchen garden on all four sides. There are two square-headed gateways with gauged stone heads, as well as two additional gateways that have 19th-century iron gates. The outbuilding, which is attached to the north-west, has a rectangular plan and is a single storey with ashlar gable parapets. The coach house, located to the east, has a T-shaped plan, is also single storey, has a hipped roof, and includes plank doors in the end of the projecting wing. The interiors have not been inspected.
