Description
These stables, located approximately 20 meters west of Church Farmhouse, date from the mid 19th century. They are constructed from squared coursed limestone and feature a slate roof. The building was originally likely a range of four stables with haylofts above the central section. It has four stable doors and plank doors, with small casement windows in between, all set under gauged stone arches. To the left of the center, there is a cart entrance beneath a shallow brick arch, and the central section has hayloft doors. The center range has a higher eaves level. This structure is included for its group value with the nearby Church Farmhouse.
