Description
Fox Holes is a house dating from the mid-17th century. It is constructed of regularly coursed limestone and features thatch and concrete tile roofs. The building has a T-shaped plan and stands two storeys high. The entrance front has a one-window range that projects to the left, featuring a casement with glazing bars under wooden lintels. There is a six-panelled door with glazed top lights beneath a 20th-century porch at the angle. To the left, there is a single-storey, three-window range that is similar in style and likely served as outbuildings originally, now with a 20th-century roof. The house has ashlar gable parapets and kneelers, along with brick stacks at the ridge and end. The garden front mirrors the entrance front, with a gabled cross wing that breaks forward to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
