Description

This stable, located approximately 40 meters east of Church Farmhouse, is likely from the mid-18th century. It is constructed from squared coursed limestone and has a pantile roof. The stable is a single unit, featuring a stable door in the gable end beneath a wooden lintel, and a small square opening at the apex of the opposite gable. The gable parapets are made of ashlar. Inside, the walls are lined with brick. It may have been converted from a dovecote during the 19th century. This building is included for its group value with the nearby Church Farmhouse.
