Description

Orchard House is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed from regularly coursed and banded limestone and ironstone, featuring brick dressings and a slate roof. The original layout consists of three units and the house is two storeys high. The front has a three-window range of 19th-century sash windows with glazing bars, all set beneath shallow brick arches. There are two 20th-century doors located to the left and right of the centre, each with similar surrounds. The house has brick stacks at the ridge and at the ends, and there is a 19th-century lean-to extension at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
