Description
This is a terrace of five houses located on London Road, Wollaston. The houses date from the early 19th century. They are built of regular coursed limestone, with slate and concrete tile roofs. Number 28 is a two-unit house, while the others are two-unit terrace houses. Number 28 has a two-window front with sash windows featuring glazing bars, set within flat stone arches. It has a central panelled door with a moulded wooden surround. Numbers 30 to 38 form a seven-window front, featuring 19th and 20th century casement windows under wooden lintels. Number 38 has a 20th century door on the left side, while the other houses have rear entrances. Brick stacks are located at the ridge and end of the terrace. The interiors have not been inspected. The rear of the terrace contains an archway, serving numbers 30 to 36. The group value of the terrace lies in its contribution to the wider streetscape.
