Description
No. 6 Grafton Road is a cottage, likely from the 17th century, consisting of two builds and altered in 1949. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with a brick gable coped, and features a plain tile roof that was originally thatched, along with a brick ridge stack. The front of the cottage is slightly canted and it has one storey and an attic.
On the ground floor, there is a plain board door leading to a through-way, modern garage doors with a window above, and a three-light fixed light window. The cottage has wooden lintels. At the rear, there is a porch that encloses a plain board door with decorative hinges. The interior has been altered, and the ground-floor room on the right side, which was formerly a dairy, is now part of No. 4 Grafton Road.
