Description
This barn, located approximately 50 meters east of Westfield Lodge Farmhouse, is likely from the mid-18th century. It is constructed from squared coursed ironstone and features a corrugated metal roof. The barn is a large single-unit structure with a single storey. It has a central cart entrance, which includes a 20th-century door and three airhole slits to the left. The gable ends are adorned with ashlar gable parapets and kneelers. A mid-19th century bellcote was likely added to the gable for William Mackworth-Dolben. Additional airhole slits are present in the gable ends.
