Description
This barn, located 50 meters west of Lodge Farm, is likely from the late 18th century. Its walls are constructed from a mix of brick and timber framing, topped with a corrugated asbestos roof. The barn is primarily single-storey, with an inserted floor at the east end. It features flush cart entrances in the center of each long wall. The south-east elevation has a central section that is weatherboarded, with brick sections on either side. At the west end, there is a pair of doors, while the east end includes a stable door and window, along with a loft door above. Inside, the roof is supported by sling-braced trusses that alternate with braced tie-beam trusses. The barn is included for its group value.
