Description

This barn, located approximately 40 meters east of North Lodge Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th to 18th century. It features a timber frame with brick infill, some of which is from the late 20th century, and has a high brick plinth. The roof is covered with old tiles and the structure consists of three bays. While the main doors are missing, there are plank doors at the rear. The left and right return sides of the barn have jowled posts. Inside, there are low retaining walls and braces, along with jowled posts. The roof is a queen strut design with through purlins. Additionally, there is a 19th-century brick lean-to on the left side.
