Description
Haselor Post Office is a cottage dating from the 17th to early 18th century. It features a timber frame with whitewashed brick infill set on a high brick and lias plinth. The roof is made of corrugated iron, and there is a 19th-century brick chimney stack at one end. The building has a two-unit plan and is one storey with an attic, displaying a one-window range with 19th-century casement windows. A 19th-century brick dormer with a raked roof is present. The entrance is located on the right return side, featuring a 20th-century door within a deeply-recessed porch. The building has jowled posts, and the right corner is underbuilt in coursed lias. The left return side has been rebuilt in whitewashed brick but still retains jowled posts. At the rear, the exposed framing is visible. The interior has not been inspected.
