Description
12 and 13 are two cottages dating from the 17th to 18th century. They are constructed of coursed limestone rubble and feature a thatched roof with brick end stacks. The building consists of a main block and a cross-wing to the right, both standing two storeys high.
The main block has a three-light gudgeon-hung iron-framed casement window to the left of the ground floor, with a similar two-light eyebrow dormer above it. There is a 20th-century door to the right, and wooden lintels are present throughout.
The south side of the cross-wing has a two-light gudgeon-hung iron-framed leaded casement window with a wooden lintel on the ground floor, and a similar single-light window above. There is also a two-light window in the gable end. The north side features a similar two-light window and an entrance door within a small 20th-century lean-to addition that has a pantile roof.
To the left of the main block, there is a one-storey extension made of coursed limestone rubble with a pantile roof, which includes a similar three-light window and a pair of garage doors. Additionally, there is a coursed limestone rubble and brick lean-to to the left that contains another pair of garage doors. The interiors have not been inspected.
