Description

Corner Thatch is a cottage dating from the 17th to 18th century, with a later addition. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a brick-dressed dormer, thatched roof, and 20th-century brick end stacks. The building has one storey and an attic, with a plinth to the right of the door. The entrance has a 20th-century door with a wooden lintel, accompanied by a 3-light iron-framed gudgeon-hung casement window to the left and a 4-light casement window to the right, both with wooden lintels. There are three 2-light gudgeon-hung iron-framed leaded casement eyebrow dormers. The one-storey addition has a Collyweston stone slate roof that curves around from the south gable and includes two 8 by 8 sash windows, one of which is located in a blocked doorway. The interior has not been inspected.
