Description

No. 30 is a cottage from the 17th or 18th century that has been altered. It is built from coursed limestone rubble and features a thatched roof with brick ridges and stacks at the left end. The cottage is one storey with an attic. On the ground floor, there is a three-light and a two-light iron-framed gudgeon-hung casement window, another two-light casement, and a small pantry window with a concrete lintel. The other windows have wooden lintels. Part of the wall has been raised to accommodate two two-light dormers beneath a wide eyebrow. To the left, there is a one-storey addition that includes a 20th-century entrance. There is also another entrance at the rear, which has similar casements. The interior has not been inspected.
