Description
Till Bridge Farm Cottages are two cottages dating from the late 17th century, with 19th and 20th century alterations. They are constructed of coursed limestone rubble and feature a pantile roof, along with red brick axial and gable stacks. A blocked door suggests that there was an earlier lobby entry plan. The cottages are single storey with attics and have a six-bay front. The off-centre 19th century planked door is flanked on the left by a single top-hung casement window and on the right by a sliding glazing bar sash, a further top-hung light, a six-panelled door, and another sliding glazing bar sash. All openings are topped with timber lintels. The rear of the cottages has three dormers. Inside, there are two moulded beams and an oak roof with staggered butt purlins.
