Description

The Old School House, located at 25 High Street in Easton Maudit, is a mid-19th century building that originally comprised three houses but is now two dwellings. The structure is made of regularly coursed limestone and features plain-tile and pantile roofs, forming a U-shaped range. It stands two storeys tall with an attic. The front elevation facing the road has a two-window range of 19th-century casements with glazing bars set under shallow arches. The central door has been blocked. There are also a pair of gabled roof dormers and stone stacks at either end. The rear elevation is similar, featuring two 19th-century plank doors, with No. 26 having a corner porch. The interiors have not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
