Description

This building, known as 40 Barnwell, is a mid to late 18th-century structure that was originally two houses now combined into one dwelling. It is built of squared coursed limestone and features a thatched roof. The building has two storeys and a four-window range of 19th-century style casements, which are set under wooden lintels. There is a 20th-century door located at the far right, also under a wooden lintel. A brick stack is positioned at the ridge, and there is a 20th-century lean-to extension at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
